Hip hop newcomer Kreayshawn is a million dollars richer today after Sony inked her to a recording contract, Miss Info reports.
The Oakland rapper/filmmaker and self proclaimed "rap beast" first gained some local attention by filming music videos for Bay Area artists, most notably Lil B. It wasn't long before she went into the booth herself to record the mixtape 'Kittys X Choppas' which spawned the local hit and video 'Bumpin Bumpin.' But it wasn't until she released the video for "Gucci Gucci" did major labels start scrambling to sign her.
With a label deal now secured, Kreayshawn and her White Girl Mob crew (Kreayshawn, her sister V-Nasty and DJ Lil Debbie) are ready to take on the hip hop world. This group would be good if they stopped trying to act hard. we know that they are not "toting guns" and that they are from the subburbs. so tell me why do they have a record deal? the song "Gucci Gucci" has a nice beat, she doesnt rap alot but has a nice sound. What do you think?
